The sites are a little small compared to what I'm used to but the size of the sites can't compare to the quality of the people who take care of this place! I am a single woman who travels alone with my two dogs. One of them fell out of the camper while I was at nearby Corning. Not only did they secure my dog but they called him and called me right away. They weren't angry like some campsites of been about the dog being loose. They were completely compassionate helpful and concerned about what was important to me. A small site can't compare to people like that! Extremely clean and well kept Campground. It has a pool, dump site, playground, Camp store, gorgeous view of the mountains! It was blissfully quiet at quiet time and full of laughing kids during the day. This is now on my favorites list and a place that I will stay whenever I am in the area.
We rented the small Salem camper it was very clean and reasonable price. There is a lot of activies for all ages the only thing I didn't care for was the sites are very close and there was no broom provided to sweep rental with. The bath house and laundry area are kept very clean as well. Over all we had a great weekend
Clean family fun close to Corning and took a road trip to Williamsport for Little League world series. The host at the camp very knowledgeable and kind. Will be back next year.
After nearly 60 years of living in the area my husband decided we could camp at Camp Bell, Campbell, New York. We have stayed at resort camps, KOA campgrounds, and little rural ones. This one was the best yet for a family with kids or...retired folks. It is quiet, super clean, the yards manicured, the dog park adorable, the pool amazing, the entertainment upper quality, the owner was gregarious and kind. He treated every camper like family. Some had been coming here since children, returning now as adults with their own camper to meet their parents who still camp here. Beautiful trees, a nice tent area, a boy scout troop was holding events, it was just the epitome of middle American idealism. We had a wonderful time. Needless to say, if they aren't full, we shall return. Close to home but far enough away so hubby could relax. Kids had a wonderful time too. The playground was brilliantly designed for imaginative play. My Rosie defended her castle...she had a group of kids playing with her...it was adorable!!!
You have to pay for the wifi, I don't have an account number for credit, so I can't pay. I usually play with my tablet on a camping trip, but I don't have access to WiFi now. I have 4G LTE but it messes up around other network. But otherwise it looked good, store was perfectly clean, I loved it! There also was minigolf, YAY! I recommend this to other parents and children looking to have a GREAT time! I forgot to call office for wifi. Sorry.
